Starrs is one of the most prominent among the representative leading establishments in the city. he has been engaged in this avocation since 1870, and furnishes every description of wood and metallic burial cases and caskets, and all the requirements necessary for a funeral, including hearses and carriages. Mr. Starrs is a gentleman peculiarly fitted for his calling and possesses those characteristics so essential in its proper prosecution, and enjoys a high reputation as being one of the leading undertakers of Newark. He is careful and considerate in the discharge of his duties and scrupulously attentive to all demands made upon him, either day or night. He is a native of the city of Newark, and is held in high esteem by all who know him, and enjoys the confidence of the whole community.
