The 384 Springfield Avenue location had a capacity of over 10,000. The Hall held musical festivals and political rallies among other things. President McKinley gave a speech there. The three story Hall came to an end on April 4, 1897 when just after 2 AM a fire was discovered by police. The blaze in the wooden structure spread quickly and consumed everything including scenery that was used for the music festivals.
